Tax consultancy in Valencia: what English-speaking firms actually charge
English-speaking tax consultancy in Valencia is available from firms such as Firmalex, which lists a Valencia office among its locations and publishes its site in English, Spanish and German, offering tax advisor and legal advisor services for non-residents, expats and foreigners in Spain (verified 2026-09-24). If you want a price, there is no official Valencia-specific market rate: the only published figures in our evidence are national or online provider fee schedules, so treat them as indicative, not as a Valencia quote. Common filings start at 34.95 EUR for a non-resident income tax return (Modelo 210) from an online provider, rising to 84 EUR per person or 106 EUR for a jointly owned property at a Malaga-based firm. Written tax advice is 122 EUR per hour at that firm.

What English-speaking tax help actually exists in Valencia

You are not choosing between the Gestoría on the corner and nothing. Firmalex (firmalex.com) lists a consultancy office in Valencia and publishes its site in English, Spanish and German. It offers tax advisor and legal advisor services for non-residents, expats and foreigners in Spain, with contact details shown as +34 966 421 416 and WhatsApp +34 622 497 615, and offices in Denia and Valencia. That is the concrete, grounded option in our evidence.
What the evidence does not tell you is how many English-speaking tax consultancies operate in Valencia, what credentials their staff hold, or whether they are registered with a professional regulator. That is not a small gap. You should ask directly on the phone: who signs the return, what is their professional registration number, and what happens if the filing is wrong. If a firm cannot answer that in English without hesitating, keep looking.
Marbella and Malaga get more English-language tax firms, and online providers serve the whole country. You can use a Valencia office for face-to-face meetings and an online provider for the annual filing if the Valencia quote is high. Many people do exactly that. The trade-off is coordination: two firms can blame each other when the Modelo 210 is late.
What you will pay, and why Valencia has no official price list
There is no official government or public-procurement price series for tax consultancy fees in Valencia or anywhere in Spain in our evidence. Every number below comes from a provider price list, so it is what a firm advertises, not a regulated tariff. Fees exclude the tax itself and any penalties.
For a standard non-resident income tax return (Modelo 210), Taxadora advertises from 34.95 EUR online. Europe Accountants in Malaga charges 84 EUR per person, or 106 EUR for a jointly owned property. For a non-resident rental income declaration, the published figure is from 49 EUR. For non-resident capital gains on a property sale, from 198 EUR.
If you are resident, the annual income tax return (Modelo 100, La Renta) starts at 123 EUR at Taxadora and 217 EUR single or 278 EUR joint at Europe Accountants. The foreign assets declaration (Modelo 720) is from 148 EUR. Written tax consultancy or advice is 122 EUR per hour at Europe Accountants.
For business owners, Europe Accountants lists combined tax and accounting for small and medium Spanish limited companies from 120 EUR per month, tax registration at 31 EUR, autónomo tax and Social Security registration at 144 EUR, and registering a foreign company for tax and VAT in Spain at 412 EUR.
None of these is a Valencia-specific quote. Expect Valencia firms to sit somewhere in that range or above it, depending on whether you want a person who answers the phone in August or a portal that answers email slowly. The cheap end works when your affairs are simple: one property, no rental, no foreign company. The moment you add a foreign brokerage account, a foreign rental, or a Spanish SL, the hourly rate matters more than the headline filing fee.
Non-resident or resident: which one are you, and why it changes the bill
The routing rule providers use is 183 days. Taxadora states that if you live in Spain more than 183 days a year you are treated as a resident; if fewer, as a non-resident. Residents must declare global income annually on Modelo 100. Non-residents with property or Spanish income declare specific taxes such as Modelo 210. Those are provider statements, not a direct reading of the residency law; treat the 183-day line as the working rule that decides which form you file.
This is the single biggest driver of cost. A non-resident with one apartment might pay under 100 EUR for the annual Modelo 210. A resident retiree with a foreign pension and a Spanish property is looking at a Modelo 100 that takes real time, plus possibly a Modelo 720 if foreign assets cross the reporting threshold. That is not a filing fee conversation anymore. It is an hourly one.
If you are close to the 183-day line, get a professional opinion before you decide which form is yours. Getting it wrong is not just a fee problem, it is a filing problem.
If you are still deciding, read [Gestor vs tax advisor in Spain: who retirees actually need](/en/finance-tax/gestor-tax-advisor-spain) before you book anyone. It will save you paying an hourly advice fee for someone to do a low-cost filing job.
Deadlines that decide whether you need help at all

For imputed income from urban real estate accrued in 2025 and earlier, the non-resident deadline is 31 December of the following year (1 January to 31 December). Under Order HAC/623/2026, for accruals from 2026 onwards the filing period shifts to 1 April to 31 December of the year following accrual, first applying to 2026 imputed income, so 1 April to 31 December 2027. Rental income is now grouped annually and due 1 to 20 January for 2024 and 2025 accruals, or 1 to 20 April for 2026 onwards. Those dates come from the Agencia Tributaria. The provider pages in our evidence still describe the older 31 December rule, so do not rely on a firm's charges page for your calendar.
For residents, the annual return deadline is 30 June following the end of the tax year, per Europe Accountants' charges page. Treat that as a provider statement and confirm it with the Agencia Tributaria before you rely on it.
When the deadlines move, so does the value of paying someone. A Valencia consultant earns their fee mainly by making sure the calendar does not surprise you, especially in your first year when you are still figuring out whether you are resident at all.
For non-residents who sell Spanish property, the scope is wider than one form: you must declare capital gains and you can reclaim the 3% tax withholding within 4 months. That reclaim is time-sensitive and it is exactly the kind of task where paying 198 EUR to a firm that does it routinely beats doing it yourself once and learning from a rejection letter.
If you have just arrived, the [First-year tax calendar for new residents of Spain](/en/finance-tax/spain-residency-tax-calendar) is the page to read before you hire anyone. It tells you which deadlines apply in month one versus month twelve.
Resident retirees: what a Valencia advisor should be doing for you
Once you are resident, the annual Modelo 100 is the baseline. But the reason retirees in Valencia pay for advice is usually not the salary income they no longer have. It is the interaction between Spanish tax and the money still coming from home.
Providers list additional services beyond the annual return: Modelo 720 foreign assets declaration, inheritance and donations tax, wealth tax, Beckham Law tax return, double taxation advice, Modelo 030 address registration, and accounting and taxes for businesses.
Wealth tax deserves a phone call, but be careful about the numbers you read online. Our evidence states that Spanish wealth tax applies to net wealth above a general exemption of 700,000 EUR per person, plus an allowance of up to 300,000 EUR for the main home. It also states that each autonomous community can vary the exemption, rates and rebates, with Madrid and Andalusia applying 100% rebates. Beyond those points, the evidence does not allow us to quote a state rate scale, a solidarity tax threshold, or a gross-asset filing trigger. If a firm quotes you a precise wealth tax figure without checking the current BOE text, ask them to show you the article.
A Valencia advisor should be able to tell you whether the Valencian community rules change your number, and if they cannot, they are not the right advisor for that question.
For the numbers, run them yourself first with the [wealth_tax](/en/tools/spain-wealth-tax-calculator) calculator, then bring the output to the meeting. You will get more out of an hourly consultation if you have already done the arithmetic.
Cross-border complications: inheritance, capital gains and pensions
The three areas where cheap tax help becomes expensive are inheritance, property sales and pensions.
Inheritance and donations tax is listed as a service by English-speaking consultants, and it is the one where the regional rules matter most. If your heirs are not Spanish and your assets are split between two countries, the planning conversation is worth the hourly fee.
Capital gains on a Spanish property sale are the second area. Non-residents must declare the gain and can reclaim the 3% withholding within 4 months. If you sold a home abroad after moving to Spain, the Spanish side is separate from the foreign side and the timing rules are different. The guide on [Capital gains tax in Spain when you sell your home abroad after moving](/en/finance-tax/capital-gains-tax-spain-home-sale) covers the cross-border piece.
Pensions are the third. If you have a foreign pension and you are now Spanish resident, the double taxation treaty decides who taxes what. A generic filing service will not catch a treaty position you failed to claim. Use the [pension_tax](/en/tools/spain-tax-calculator-for-retirees) calculator to get a first estimate, then ask a consultant to confirm the treaty treatment in writing.
One more thing for non-residents who still own property in Spain: if you rent it out, you must declare rental income yearly, and the Modelo 210 is the form.
How to choose, and what to ask before you pay
Start with the 183-day question. If you are under it and own one Spanish property, an online provider at 34.95 EUR to 84 EUR is likely enough, and a Valencia office is a convenience you may not need. If you are over it, or you are close to the line and unsure, pay for an hour at 122 EUR with someone local before you file anything.
Ask these four questions on the first call. First, are you a registered tax advisor or a gestor, and who signs the return? Second, what is your fee for a Modelo 210 versus a Modelo 100, and is the quote per person or per property? Third, do you handle Modelo 720 and wealth tax, or do you refer those out? Fourth, if I am audited, does your fee cover the response or does the meter start again?
If the answers are vague, that is your answer. The fee range is wide because the scope is wide. A joint Modelo 210 at 106 EUR and a self-employed company package at 120 EUR per month are not the same product, and no honest Valencia firm will quote you one number without asking about your income sources first.
One last trade-off worth naming. The cheapest provider is almost always online, remote, and process-driven. The most expensive is a local advisor who knows your name, the Valencian regional rules, and the person at the extranjería. You are not buying a form. You are buying the absence of a nasty letter in year two.
Frequently asked questions

What is the deadline for non-residents to file Spanish income tax?
For imputed income from urban real estate accrued in 2025 and earlier, the deadline is 31 December of the following year. Under Order HAC/623/2026, for accruals from 2026 onwards the period shifts to 1 April to 31 December of the year following accrual, first applying to 2026 imputed income (1 April to 31 December 2027). Do I need a tax advisor if I am a non-resident with one property?
Not necessarily. A straightforward Modelo 210 can be filed online from 34.95 EUR, or 84 EUR per person at a full-service firm. If you rent the property out, sell it, or hold foreign assets above reporting thresholds, the scope grows and paying for advice usually costs less than fixing a mistake.
