Everything on this site is general information. It is not legal, tax, medical, insurance or investment advice, and reading it creates no professional relationship between you and us.

Immigration, tax and healthcare rules in Spain change, are applied differently by different consulates and regions, and depend on facts we do not know about you. Always confirm your own position with a qualified professional before you act on anything you read here.

What your retirement plan is, and is not

The retirement plan is a checklist and a calendar. It is built from what you tell us and from published rules, and it is meant to help you ask better questions of the right people at the right time. It is not a legal, tax or financial opinion about your situation, and following it is not a substitute for professional advice.

We do not promise that a plan lists every step that applies to you, or that a date it suggests is the right one for your case — your circumstances, your consulate and your region all change the answer. Deciding what to do, and when, remains yours.

How we are paid, and what it does not buy

We are paid when we introduce a reader to a professional partner, and sometimes through affiliate commission on products we mention. That is how the site funds itself instead of running advertising.

It buys placement in nothing. Rankings, comparisons and recommendations are decided on published terms and on whether something actually suits a retiree, and we say so on the page wherever a commercial relationship exists. If we would not recommend a partner to a family member, we do not list them.

Accuracy

We research against official sources and review our guides regularly, and each carries the date it was last reviewed. Even so, we cannot promise that every page is complete and current at the moment you read it, and we accept no liability for decisions taken on the basis of the site alone.

Links to other sites

Where we link to a consulate, an authority or a provider, we do not control what is on the other end of that link and are not responsible for it.

Our content

The text, structure and design of this site belong to Ivory Games LLC. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back. Republishing whole guides, or using them to train or populate another site, is not permitted.

Using the forms honestly

The forms are for genuine enquiries. Please do not submit other people’s details, automate submissions, or use the site to send unsolicited commercial messages.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, United States. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings there.
