Altaona Sports & Wellness Resort is a longevity resort in Murcia, in southern Spain, developed by TAOLIS, The Art of Living in Spain. It covers 3.6 million m² at Baños y Mendigo on the Costa Cálida, and only 9% of that land will be built on; an 18-hole golf course and a protected nature area account for the rest.
The resort is organised around three pillars. The residential pillar offers villas and townhouses to own, on plots from 400 to 2,500 m², built with the SISMO system and certified A for energy. The hospitality pillar is described as independent living for active older adults, with wellness and longevity support, organised activity and convenient access to healthcare. The third pillar, the WOW Experience, covers 220,000 m² of sport, wellness and longevity facilities, including golf, padel, tennis, fitness, a spa and the longevity centre.
The location is close to everyday necessities: Murcia city centre is about 15 km away, the nearest major hospital about 12 km, two international schools about 10 km, and Región de Murcia International Airport at Corvera about 8 km, a ten-minute drive. The site states that the resort is designed around healthspan, with the motto "Live better, live longer".
